Sprints

What?

The PyConZA Sprints is a chance for people to collobrate and work various projects (Open Source or personal) with fellow Python enthusiasts.

Venue, dates and times

The sprints will be held at the SKAO offices in Black River Park on the 5th and 6th of October.

Black River Park – North Entrance Block A, 2nd Floor.

  • Climb these stairs to the second floor
  • Find the PyConZA Banner to your left
  • The entrance is just around the corner to the right
  • Tell security you're with PyConZA
  • We have the Andromeda and Bernie Fanaroff boardrooms

Who can attend

Anyone can attend the sprints. Purchasing a conference ticket is not required to attend the sprints.

Sprint Topics

While sprint attendees are free to work on whatever they want to, if you have a suggestion for a common topic that you would like to collaborate on, please email team@za.pycon.org with your suggestion and we'll add it to this list.

Suggested Topics

  • wafer - the Django app behind the PyConZA website.
  • Video wrangling - postprocessing and editing video from the conference for youtube release.
