Ticket Types

We provide a number of different ticket types for different situations:

In-person Tickets

In-person conference registration includes entrance to the venue, lunch, and access to all talks on the two conference days. Note that the venue is in Johannesburg.

In person tickets also grant access to the online conference.

Online Tickets

Online conference registration includes access to the online conference and talks on the two conference days. All talks will be streamed to the online audience.

Online tickets do not include access to the venue.

Donation Tickets

PyCon Africa aims to open as many doors as possible by providing financial assistance to people who cannot afford to attend on their own. If you are in a position to make a donation, please consider purchasing a donation ticket. It will make a big difference to someone's life.

When you donate, you will be asked to enter a donation value in South African Rands. You can see the current exchange rate here

Different tickets for different folks

If you are purchasing an online or in-person ticket, you will need to choose a ticket type:

• Corporate: If you are buying tickets on behalf of an organisation, please purchase these
• Education: If you are a student, teacher or faculty member then you qualify for Education tickets
• Pensioner: This is for pensioners
• Individual: This is for everyone else
