Abstract
The Python asyncio module is a powerful toolbox, but not every way you can use it will give you robust, race-free code. Drawing from years of practical experience with asyncio, I'll present some patterns that I've found to work well. I'll also point out some anti-patterns that seem to work but contain hidden flaws. I'll also touch on how the async-solipsism library can be used to test your asyncio code for certain race conditions.
This talk is aimed at people who are already familiar with the asyncio library and have started to use it, but want to learn how to use it well.
