Bio
I was introduced to Python after I finished studying. It took a few more years before I started to use it professionally, but since then Python has been a big part of what I do for a living.
For me technology is a means to empower people and contribute to a society that we all want to be a part of. I’ve been fortunate enough to have several opportunities where I could use Python in the process!
I've worked on several different web applications in the education / social tech sector and hope to have more such opportunities in the future.
Accepted Talks:
Python people and projects
I've benefited massively from using python professionally over the last 15 years. But behind the language, the code and the packages there are many people that has spent their time creating this truly remarkable ecosystem that we rely on!
In this talk I'd like to highlight some parts of the python ecosystem from the perspective of the people who contributed to the language and the packages most commonly used.
I hope that this talk serves a dual purpose of giving someone new to python an overview of the different things that people are doing with python while also expressing gratitude to the larger community for the parts they play.
